Green Logistics” webinar with GOLDBECK SOLAR and VECTOR Informatik

On June 24, 2025, our webinar “Green Logistics – A holistic energy ecosystem consisting of PV, storage, charging infrastructure and intelligent energy management” took place. Together with VECTOR Informatik, Birdtical GmbH and the GOLDBECK SOLAR Group, we provided a practical insight into how logistics companies can successfully make the switch to renewable energies and electromobility.

The logistics industry is currently facing major challenges: rising energy prices, grid connection restrictions, the integration of PV and storage solutions and the planning of efficient charging infrastructures for truck and bus fleets. Without holistic concepts, many potentials remain untapped, while companies must achieve their decarbonization goals at the same time.
The highlights of the webinar were:

Intelligent charging infrastructure: Christian Witt from VECTOR Informatik showed how charging points for truck and bus depots can be planned and operated efficiently – including digital control and load management.

Smart energy management: Mathias Strasser from Connectika GmbH / Birdtical GmbH explained how PV systems, battery storage systems and charging points can be networked to reduce electricity costs and ensure a reliable energy supply.

Intelligent energy solutions for the logistics sector
At transport logistic 2025 in Munich, Connectika, together with partners such as KACO new energy, Sungrow Charging Europe, Birdtical GmbH, VECTOR Informatik, BYD / EFT-Systems, presented innovative solutions for the electrification of logistics fleets, the expansion of intelligent charging infrastructure and sustainable energy concepts from PV, battery storage and e-mobility at logistics locations.

The focus was on practical approaches to efficiently managing energy flows, integrating renewable energies and enabling economical and sustainable solutions for logistics companies. At the same time, the current challenges facing the industry were discussed:

High investment costs, especially for small and medium-sized companies

Lengthy grid connections and high connection fees

Lack of funding models and unclear legal framework conditions

Lack of expertise in the planning and implementation of integrated energy solutions
Connectika and its partners showed how scalable, integrated energy solutions with intelligent EMS control combine PV systems, battery storage and charging infrastructure to enable a sustainable energy supply for the logistics industry. The trade fair also offered numerous opportunities for professional exchange with manufacturers, customers and interested parties – from project ideas to strategic partnerships.
The discussions on depot-based charging, fleet management and the integration of renewable energies in logistics locations were particularly exciting. Connectika took away many valuable ideas for actively shaping the energy transition in logistics.

“The smarter E” trade fair in Munich is one of the leading platforms for innovative energy solutions and once again this year offered exciting insights into current trends and developments in the industry. The event was a complete success for Connectika: together with our partner Birdtical, we presented intelligent energy management systems (EMS) for the Commercial & Industrial (C&I), Microgrids and Utility sectors.

Our trade fair presentation focused on the efficient control of energy flows, from visualization and optimization to the integration of renewable energies and storage systems. Especially in times of growing demands for energy efficiency, grid integration and the switch to renewable energy sources, EMS solutions are crucial to ensure flexibility, stability and economic efficiency in companies and energy projects.
The trade fair clearly showed that the industry is facing major challenges: rising electricity prices, volatile energy generation from solar and wind power plants, a more complex regulatory framework and the increasing digitalization of energy infrastructures. At the same time, enormous opportunities are opening up: flexible microgrid solutions, optimized load management, intelligent battery storage integration and digital EMS platforms offer new ways to use energy efficiently, reduce costs and increase security of supply.
The exchange with partners, customers and interested parties on site was particularly valuable: practical questions, innovative project ideas and the discussion of current market requirements provided important impetus for the further development of our EMS solutions. The integration of hardware and software components into holistic, ready-to-connect solutions was a key topic.
The smarter E” has shown once again: Intelligent energy management is the key to exploiting the opportunities of the energy transition and at the same time mastering current challenges in the energy sector.

Webinar on commercial storage with KACO new energy

KACO new energy’s webinar in April was dedicated to the opportunities and requirements of the new Solar Peak Law, which strengthens the self-consumption of solar power and further increases the importance of energy storage systems. Together with our partners KACO new energy, Sunwoda and EFT Systems (BYD Battery Max Lite), we presented practical solutions for companies, project developers and installers to react quickly and efficiently to the new framework conditions.

The focus was on the blueplanet gridsave battery inverters from KACO new energy, which have proven themselves on the market for years and are compatible with a wide variety of batteries. This was complemented by the multiplex system solution from Connectika, which combines the inverter, energy management system (EMS) and AC switchgear into an optimally coordinated, ready-to-connect storage solution. The result is a flexible, high-performance power unit.

Bauma Trade Fair | Munich Exhibition Center
April 7 – 13, 2025
Bauma in Munich is not only the world’s largest trade fair for the construction and building materials industry, but also a place where current trends and technologies relating to the transformation of the industry manifest themselves. The construction industry is undergoing radical change: topics such as the electrification of vehicle fleets, microgrid solutions and the integration of renewable energies are becoming increasingly important.

At the same time, the requirements for efficiency, sustainability and intelligent energy management on construction sites and in infrastructure are increasing.
For Connectika, Bauma is an ideal platform to deepen the dialog with manufacturers, customers and partners and to jointly develop solutions for these challenges. The use of intelligent EMS systems enables energy flows to be controlled efficiently, solar or battery systems to be used optimally and the energy transition to be actively integrated into the construction and mobility industry.

On April 8, 2025, the SAE Expert Day took place at the Wyndham Grand Salzburg Conference Center. This is a platform for experts from the energy industry to discuss current challenges and solutions in the field of telecontrol technology and decentralized energy solutions.

The focus was on the intelligent integration of FWA systems into decentralized energy structures and the role of modern EMS systems. Connectika was on site and presented practical approaches to the integration of FWA systems in EMS-supported energy solutions in its own presentation.

The Volta-X Expo took place at the trade fair grounds in Stuttgart from March 25 to 27, 2025. One of the leading trade fairs for smart energy technologies and cross-sector solutions. Under the motto “For a more sustainable and greener future”, over 485 exhibitors and around 26,000 trade visitors from industry, science and politics gathered to discuss current challenges and solutions for the energy transition.

The kick-off event of Vestwoods-Munich took place in Bonn on September 12. The focus was on a topic that is crucial for the future of our energy supply: the role of energy storage systems in the energy transition.

Together with experts from various fields, we discussed how battery storage and innovative storage solutions can help to make renewable energy more efficient to use. After all, fluctuations in solar and wind power generation can only be balanced out if energy can be stored flexibly and made available when needed. Energy storage systems are therefore a key building block for security of supply, grid relief and the expansion of a sustainable energy infrastructure.
The event offered exciting insights into current developments in storage technologies, fields of application in industry and everyday life as well as the importance of cooperation between technology providers, energy suppliers and users. The intensive exchange clearly showed that the basis for successfully shaping the energy transition can only be created through joint action and networking.
We would like to thank all speakers and participants for their valuable input and the great interest shown. The kick-off event impressively demonstrated how important the dialog on energy storage is – and that this is just the beginning of a promising development.
